Fleet hire questions
What’s the smallest fleet you’ll set up?
Two vehicles for a single day is fine, and there’s no upper limit we won’t quote on. Volume rates start from five vehicles, and the longer the plan, the lower the price per vehicle.
Do our staff need a licence to ride?
Yes. From 31 August 2026, Queensland requires e-bike riders to hold a driver licence and e-scooter riders to hold at least a learner licence. Overseas licences are recognised. We check each rider’s licence at hand-over.
Are your scooters and e-bikes legal under the new rules?
Yes. Our Segway e-scooters are limited to 25 km/h and our e-bikes only assist up to 25 km/h, in line with Queensland’s rules. Scooters that can go faster become illegal after 28 February 2027, so a compliant hire fleet avoids that risk entirely.
What happens if a vehicle breaks down?
Call or message us. Our van can come out to you in Brisbane, and we repair or swap the vehicle. Servicing is part of every plan, so wear and tear is on us; damage and loss are charged under the rental agreement, the same as any hire.
Can you deliver outside Brisbane?
Brisbane is our home turf, and we regularly travel further for events. Tell us the site in the form and we’ll include delivery in the quote.
Can the fleet carry our branding?
Yes, on longer plans we can add your decals and fleet numbers. For event activations we can also brand a short-term fleet. Ask us in the form.
How do we pay?
One tax invoice a month from Oakmond Group Pty Ltd (ABN 28 687 140 307), payable by card or bank transfer. Short event hires are invoiced once.
