Direct train

Ipswich/Rosewood line trains run through the city between Fortitude Valley and Indooroopilly without a change.

By bike, ~10 km

Along the river: the CBD riverside paths and Bicentennial Bikeway to Toowong, then through Taringa to Indooroopilly, about 35–40 minutes.

Valley to the CBD

The CBD is a few minutes away for lunch-time office orders; New Farm and Newstead are close for dinner.

Local tip: Late shifts mean lights on and a charged battery: Queensland police can breath-test e-bike riders (limit 0.05). Lock the bike every time you go inside to collect.

How do I get from Fortitude Valley to Brisbane Bike Rental?

Is it safe to ride delivery late at night in the Valley?

Use lights, stay visible, lock the bike every time you step away, and keep to Queensland's rules. Random breath tests apply to e-bike riders, with a 0.05 limit. The rider app has an emergency card and an after-a-crash guide.

Can I add a second battery for long nights?

Yes, a second battery is $45 a week on food delivery e-bike hires. Add it in the rider app or at the counter once your hire has started.
