Share scooters charge to unlock and then by the minute, and you have to hunt for one nearby. A Segway from us is yours for the day or the week at one flat price: ride it to uni or work, take it home, charge it overnight, and bring it back when you are done. If something goes wrong, our workshop in Indooroopilly fixes it.
Prefer pedals? We also hire city and mountain bikes for $30 a day, and e-bikes by the week from $42.80 for delivery riders and commuters.
$30 for a single day or $70 for a week (about $10 a day), for either the Segway F3 Pro e-scooter or the Segway S-Max self-balancer. There is a $100 refundable deposit, paid when you book and refunded after the scooter is returned in good condition, and a helmet comes with every hire.
Bring a driver licence (Australian or overseas) or a passport when you pick up. The person hiring must be 18 or over; riders can be 16 or over (16–17-year-olds ride on a parent’s or guardian’s booking). Ride to Queensland’s road rules: helmet on, up to 25 km/h, and 12 km/h on footpaths and when passing pedestrians.
On bike paths, shared paths and local roads where allowed, at up to 25 km/h, and on footpaths at up to 12 km/h. The river paths through St Lucia, Toowong and the CBD are a great first ride from our shop in Indooroopilly.
At our shop at 5/8 Lambert Road, Indooroopilly, a one-minute walk from Indooroopilly train station. We are open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm, and closed on Sundays and Queensland public holidays.
The Segway F3 Pro folds in seconds, so you can carry it onto Queensland Rail trains. The S-Max self-balancer does not fold.
Segway quotes up to 70 km for the F3 Pro and up to 38 km for the S-Max. Real range depends on rider weight, hills and weather. We hand it over fully charged with its charger for weekly hires.
